Maurice was a victim of a recent incident between the local farmer and the troop of vervet monkeys

A few weeks ago Maurice was brought into Chipangali after been left abandoned by his mother, Maurices mother was trying to steal a few prize pickings at the local grinding mill when the local farmers chased her and the fellow monkeys in hot persuit. Unfortunately in the chaos poor little Maurice was left behind with mom fleeing for her life. Marie Nobel is currently rearing Maurice and those initial scares from the trauma of loosing his mother have now been repaired. He is now a delightful little chap and get really spoilt with baths and treats been provided on a daily basis
